何時構成 Out of Bounds
球在觸地或觸及膝蓋高度以上的 Player 後完全越過 Boundary Line，即為 Out of Bounds。只要球的任何部分仍在 Boundary Line 上方，就不算 Out of Bounds。
一般 Out of Bounds 以 boundary throw-in 恢復比賽
一般 Out of Bounds 且沒有 Free Kick 時，boundary Umpire 會從頭頂將球擲向 Playing Surface 中央。若 throw-in 沒有提供公平爭球機會，field Umpire 可以要求重擲。
Out of Bounds On the Full 判 Free Kick
Kick 在未觸及 Playing Surface 內地面或膝蓋高度以上 Player 的情況下完全越過 Boundary Line，就是 Out of Bounds On the Full。Law 18.10 規定在球越線位置判 Free Kick。
球員必須展現足夠意圖讓球留在場內
Law 18.10 也規定，Player 以 Kick、Handball 或其他方式把球送過 Boundary Line，卻未展現足夠意圖讓球留在比賽中時，判 Free Kick。這是依意圖判斷，不是所有越線都自動受罰。
